Leesville Junior High families,
As the new principal of Leesville Junior High School, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to every family in the community and hope you are looking forward to the 2019-2020 school year. I am honored to be your principal and excited about leading this outstanding team of dedicated educators in making the school year one that is enriched with engaging, exciting, and rigorous adventures within education.
The middle school years are challenging and exhilarating times when children embark upon new endeavors in the learning arena. Each year will provide important transitions and the acquisitions that will enhance each student’s ability to apply learning in different ways. Student success is attributed to the partnership and the relationships we build within our community. It truly does take a village! Education is a joint venture and Team LJHS greatly appreciates the support you provide for your children at home and at school to help them meet their learning goals.
Leesville Junior High School is committed to providing a challenging and rigorous curriculum that helps each student progress at a developmentally appropriate rate and provides a safe environment for all students.
Because of my years of teaching, I understand the value of social and emotional development of each child as they transition from primary years through adolescence. As the principal of Leesville Junior High School, I believe that it is my responsibility to maintain and continue to build a supportive and collaborative spirit at our school. I value life-long learning and aim to make your child’s learning experience at Leesville Junior High School engaging and exciting.
Together as a school community, we will build on the traditions of the past and meet the challenges of the future. If you have any questions, you can reach me at the school (337)239-3874 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
