Dear Wampus Cat Family,

It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the new Assistant Principal of Leesville Junior High School.  I am honored to accept this new role and look forward to working with you in our efforts to do whatever it takes to help our students achieve their best here at LJHS.  I hope you are excited and ready for a year filled with learning and fun because… “It is a great day to be a Wampus Cat!”

The Junior High years propose new challenges for each student.  These years are important and critical times for students in that they lay the foundation for high school, which is right around the corner!  What happens during these years will have a lasting impression on our students’ growth and development.  In order for them to be successful, students must come to school expecting to learn and willing to work hard.  Our staff will provide the quality instruction that students deserve and that parents expect.  My goal as Assistant Principal is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school environment that is safe and respectable in order for your child to receive the best possible academic instruction.

We are all part of the Leesville Junior High School family.  When we all focus on learning, we will achieve our greatest success by supporting one another in a respectful and caring environment.  I am glad you are part of this family.  Feel free to stop in and say hello as my door is always open.  If there is anything I can assist you with, please let me know.  You can contact me at (337) 239-3874 or via email at
